Kelli Savia, DO, MS, graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in biology and health communication studies. She earned a master’s degree in physiology and biophysics from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond before pursuing her medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. Dr. Savia then completed her family medicine residency at the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners, Dr. Savia has additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support and fundamentals in critical care support. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association and the South Carolina Academy of Family Physicians. In addition to her comprehensive training treating acute and chronic diseases in patients of all ages, she has presented research findings and conducted lectures related to general family medical care.
Dr. Savia joins the board-certified physicians and skilled staff at Lexington Family Practice White Knoll to provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages. From pediatric and internal medicine care to gynecology services and minor surgeries, the practice also offers on-site bone density screenings, X-rays, laboratory services and echocardiogram testing.
